Product Description

If you don't have a lot of space to work with, the striking Black Velvet is a great elephant ear variety for you. With its tiny, compact size, you can grow a Black Velvet anywhere. The name is not a misnomer or exaggeration; wait until you feel the soft, velvety leaves for yourself. If your plant doesn't look just like the picture, give it a little time to grow up. Elephant ears' attributes become more defined when they mature. They do not like to dry out or be too wet, keep evenly moist, not wet or dry! Alocasia amazonica will live indefinitely in containers if proper care is given and is an excellent indoor plant!
  • Mature Height 1-2 feet
  • Naturally grows multiple stems
  • Exotic leaves
  • Prefers bright, indirect light
  • Immediate shipping, starter plant in a 2.5" pot

    Velvet

This is becoming a beautiful plant since delivered. I was a little worried when I first saw it from the packaging but now it seems to be doing quite well.

I just want to touch these leaves

This Beautiful plant arrived shortly after I ordered it. It isa gift for my daughter but she might not get it. She does not know it is for her so I can keep it! I won't. This is an amazing plant. The leaves are plump and strong. The color is very, very dark while the veins look white. This seller is one of my favorites. Oh! The leaves look like velvet, I want to touch them but will not.

    Decent Alocasia beginner

Arrived nicely packaged. Only had 3 leaves and they’re quite droopy even after more than a week of rehab. Hoping it survives. Seems pricey for the size.
