CAMPANULA: Campanula are an easy to grow perennial, preferring a moderately rich, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Good drainage will ensure a large display of their bell-shaped flowers. Keep watered in the summer and fertilize regularly. You must dead-head flowers for continuous blooming. Blooms July to September. Rarely seen in gardens, this easy-to-grow reliably perennial “Bellflower” delivers a blast of alluring rich purple color. Rising above a dense clump of bright green leaves in Spring, multiple sturdy stems to 2’ tall hold clusters of upward facing 2” bells. Blooming lasts at least a month, then cut it back to the foliage for repeat bloom in Summer. Rich well-drained soil for best performance.
