DAISY: Daisies are all-time favorites for the perennial border. The cheery flowers begin to appear in late spring and continue on for several months if faithfully deadheaded. A plant that is easily grown in average, well-drained soils in full sun. Good drainage is essential for this plant! Unsurpassed in the border and for cutting. Give them a sunny spot and a balanced plant food in the spring and once again when buds form. Remove flowers as they fade to promote further bloom. An outstanding cultivar with single, pure white produced in abundance atop bushy mounds of foliage. Due to its compact nature, it tolerates the weather (wind, rain, etc.) better than other Shastas.
