Beautiful, carmine-pink flower spikes bloom in late spring and early summer above basal rosettes of crimpled deep-green leaves. Excellent as a cut flower and for attracting butterflies. Removing spent flower spikes will encourage re-bloom. Give this plant plenty of sunshine and well-drained soil, and it will return for a year or two. But if you let the final blooms remain on the plant until the petals blow away, it will re-seed itself magnificently, so your Verbascum garden increases with each passing season!     All three arrived in great condition despite the crappy packing most of the soil was in the box. They were planted and are doing great. Overall, I’m so disappointed in this order. Items were not shipped, the packing was horrible, and I received a package of rotted rose lilies.
