Rare Elastica 'shivereana' Ficus - Moonshine Rubber Tree - 4" Pot

One of the rarest Ficus species, Elastica 'shivereana', is commonly referred to as the Moonshine Rubber Tree due to its exquisite moonlight appearance. This beauty features variegated lime green to mint leaves with specks of cream, white, and dark green. It can even develop orange to peachy tones depending on the light it receives. Much like any other Ficus, this one prefers to be kept moderately moist during the growing season with no excess water at the roots. Rubber trees tend to be prone to root rot if left with too much water in or around the base. Bright indirect light and high humidity will create the best conditions for growth. Drafts and frequent relocations may cause the Ficus to drop leaves.
