Product Description
Fast growing deciduous shrub with tremendous late summer bloom. These plants are butterfly magnets with their large, honey-scented blooms. Mulch in colder climates. Vivid pink flowers. Short compact plants.
The fragrant, arching clusters of Butterfly Bush are irresistible to hummingbirds and butterflies. Really a shrub, plants are best treated like perennials and pruned back hard each spring, to maintain a compact, bushy habit. This selection has very long wands of deep-pink flowers, on a tall clump. Excellent for cutting. Removing faded flower heads will encourage plants to continue blooming. Drought and heat tolerant, once established.
