Product Description

The most striking feature of the Ponytail Palm is the swollen base of the trunk. The texture of the trunk looks and feels scaly like the foot of an elephant and is also known as Elephants Foot. The extraordinary thickening of the trunk serves as a water reservoir against dry spells, allowing the tree to go up to four (4) weeks without water and causing no ill effects. Excellent in low or higher lighting conditions. The Ponytail is an excellent choice for home, office or anywhere. Very easy indoor maintenance.

    I was definitely impressed at the size of this ponytail when I received it. Wasn't packed as well as our first order of plants we got from them but still arrived in good condition. I'm happy about my order.

    I've been looking for a guatamalan ponytail palm and they were so expensive. Hirts had them for a really decent price. I wasn't expecting the plant to be so large and full. It was very well packed also. Delivery was fast. I will be back.
