Arisaema flavum has stunning, yellow flowers and bold leaves, radiating in a fan from the petiole. Size varies from about a foot at first flowering to 3' in the "giant form". It is native to China and Yemen. Later in the summer, the flower is replaced by a black seed cluster that turns red by autumn. A very hardy wildflower, once planted it naturalizes well. It does best in shade or part-shade.
