Doubletake Quince Scarlet
I've been growing this shrub for several years and in Spring it is absolutely beautiful. However, after about 3 years, it drops seeds everywhere. It has become very invasive. The wind blows the seeds, the birds distribute seeds, and the seeds drop heavily on their own. You will have these coming up all over your entire landscape, even in your lawn. Still, it's pretty in Spring, just not worth the work of digging out it's deeply set roots. "Be careful what you wish for."
