Product Description

HOSTA: It is difficult to find a garden that is without this versitile East Asian native. Lush foliage in diverse colors, heights and textures, coupled with its ability to excel in deep shade have captured gardeners’ hearts everywhere. Named after the late Diana, Princess of Wales. This vigorous Hosta plantaginea hybrid makes a stunning, 3' wide clump of shiny, blue-green leaves with a very wide, creamy yellow border. In late summer, clumps of Hosta 'Diana Remembered' are topped with 2' tall spikes bearing very fragrant, white flowers...a hummingbird favorite.

    Upon receipt of product weather was cold, so I placed in our storeroom for a while. Weather continued to be inclimate and the hosta remained unplanted for 6 weeks. I began to be concerned but I could still not plant it for fear of a cold snap killing it immediately after planting. When the weather finally broke, I pulled it out of it's shipping container only to find the roots were sprouting out of the box. That rascal wanted to start growing so bad it was working its way even out of the shipping so good. Go for it. You won't regret it.

    Can in looking a bit tired, watered it and it's been 4 days or so, and it is perking up nicely.
