This one was also beautifully wrapped and shipped. The plant was about 24"long and it seems really dried out. There is also a split in the stem at the level of the soil. I went ahead and planted it to see what happens. Thank you.

The cool white-blue flowers are round or semi-spherical in shape, and reach 4-5" in diameter. This prolific bloomer flowers on both old and new wood, and blooms from June through August. Shipped dormant in the late fall and winter.

First: the care taken with packaging is incredible! I ordered and received 4 beautiful healthy plants that were carefully packaged. I planted the same day they were received. So far they look good, it’s only been a few days since planting.

Mostly very good
I ordered a Diamond Ball and a Flore Pleno in Spring 2021. One of them, Diamond Ball, came broken at the bottom of the stem. I replanted it into a larger pot anyway, and in a few weeks a new shoot came up from the roots. Planted it in the garden, and it is blooming now. Then in August of same year, I ordered another Diamond Ball. I received a stocky plant with good root system. Replanted into a larger pot, now waiting for signs of new growth before planting it in the garden. So plant quality is very good, and Hirt s prices for clematis are unbeatable, esp. if several are ordered at once to reduce shipping price per plant. Clematis varieties offered are probably the widest choice around - a huge plus. Will recommend Hirts to friends and family.
