Cress is a curly leaf plant and belongs to a different class of vegetable than watercress. Cress is grown like lettuce and spinach. Cress does not do well in very hot weather. You can have successive plantings throughout the year. Plant in August for fall harvest. Cress seeds are usually planted directly in the garden. Plants grow 3 - 12" tall
