Crackling Rosie Begonia Plant - 3.7" Pot - Excellent Houseplant

Begonia ‘Cracklin Rosie’ (Begonia fibrous hybrid) These leaves are the darkest green imaginable. They are also covered with light pink dots, as if they had been splattered by the artist’s brush. Add to this the rich maroon undersides and you have a great deal of movement in a creature so still. The color combination works remarkably well. A Walter Dworkin Hybrid. This plant enjoys filtered light but can take some sun in winter. Soil should ideally be moist. Begonias grow very well in peat-based compost also. Likes humidity. Hardy. Does not like cold weather. Pinching tips and pruning outer stems in the growing season gives a bushier plant, good for hanging baskets. Provide very, bright, indirect light. Keep evenly moist, not wet or dry. Trim as needed.
