Blueberry Ruffles Butterfly Lavender Herb - Perennial - Live Plant - 3" Pot

LAVANDULA: An indispensable member of the herb family, used for perfumes and potpourri, its ornamental, compact habit along with gray-green scented foliage make it a welcome addition to the perennial border. Also called French, Spanish or Butterfly Lavender. This selection, part of the ‘Ruffles & Laces’ series, is grown for the colorful ruffled blooms, early and repeat blooming and improved heat, humidity and drought tolerance. It produces fragrant light-green leaves forming a bushy, evergreen mound and unusual chubby, blueberry-colored spikes waving petals from the top. Excellent in mixed containers and the hot sunny border. May be wintered indoors in cold regions. Drought tolerant once established. Flowers are attractive to butterflies. Shear plants back by about 1/3 in spring to force compact, bushy growth. Measurements are approximate
