The plant was packaged beautifully. It is small but I knew it would be. Planted it as directed and hope it grows as beautifully as the picture.

    Plants arrived in excellent condition

I purchased three of the Berry Poppins Winterberry Holly. The plants received were approximately 10 inches tall and had a several red berries on each plant. Each plant was in a plastic bag packed inside a cardboard cone which was enclosed in a box. It would be almost impossible to damage the plants the way they were packed. The soil was still very moist when they arrived late in the afternoon when it was 85 degrees outside. I kept them indoors overnight, then set them out in the early morning sun while I dug holes and prepared to plant the three females and one male plant. I watered them thoroughly as I packed dirt around them, and then watered them the next two days. Today we received 1.5 inches of rain in an early morning downpour. Today I purchased some composed cow manure to work into the soil and some mulch to protect the plants, which I will do tomorrow. So far the plants look very healthy. Can't wait until next Spring to see how they do over the winter.
