Arum of Italy 10 Seeds - Arum italicum - Enticing!

Arrow-shaped, lush foliage, often with creamy variegation in the fall and winter, followed by springtime spathes that are light yellow-green and look like a Jack-in-the-pulpit. Look for spikes of bright red berries that last all summer. Prefers some shade; hardy in zones 5-9; grows 10"-12" high. Arum of Italy not only grows wild in Italy but also in Southern France and Spain, so it is a real Mediterranean plant. What makes this Arum so different is that its beautifully-shaped, marked leaves appear in the fall and stay green all winter. It is a very good plant for naturalizing in moist, sheltered, half-shaded locations.
