Product Description

Zanthoxylem odorum - "I'm collecting delicious, peppery leaves fit for fairy or humans." Leaves appear to have leaf shine on them but are naturally glossy. This unusual plant is prized by bonsai artists and chefs. Excellent addition to a fairy garden. Hardiness zone: 9-11 Bloom-time: Winter Mature Size: 12" Tall x 12" Wide At least afternoon Sun, if not more & brought into the house before the fall frost and overwinter in a sunny, cool window. Can also be kept indoors year round with adequate light. Zanthoxylum Odorum can be used in several ways. The plant grows wild in many parts of Asia where its leaves and fruits are used as spices. The leaves have a characteristic lemon/pepper taste which is also why it is known as “lemon pepper”.

    Very nice tree. First one I ordered got root damage because it came during a winter storm. Customer rep was kind and refunded. Ordered it again, and it arrived in one piece. Very nice tree, healthy, full of leaves. Roots are very vigorous and full of life. Im gonna order here again because prices are not as high as on amazon, and shipping seems to be cheaper too.
