Tulip Vendee Globe is a Lily Flowering Tulip that resembles flaring, cup-shaped lilies with gently pointed tips. Named after the round-the-world sailing race, the blossoms are as varied as each vessel’s sails. Flowers are yellow splashed with varying shades of reds and oranges. No two blossoms are the same. Plant in large groups for a dramatic effect.
Lily-flowered Tulips: These Tulips have a unique shape: the blossom resembles a Lily, or, sometimes, an urn. This effect is created by long, pointed petals which are (i.e. they bend back). From above, the open flower can look like a six-pointed star. Lily-Flowered Tulips aren't available in dozens of different varieties.
