Product Description

It is a Lady Tulip called ‘Tinka.’ The scientific name for Lady Tulips is Tulipa clusiana; it is a classification of wild species (or botanical) tulips. They are also known as Candlestick Tulips, based on their appearance when the flowers are closed. This smaller-statured cheery yellow Tulip is splashed with red outer petals. In cloudy weather, the blooms remain tightly closed. On a sunny day this charmer opens its petals to reveal a star-shaped bright yellow face. Measurements are approximate.
