Product Description

Tradescantia plant care requires bright indirect light. If the light is too dim, the leaf markings will fade. Keep the soil slightly moist, but don’t water directly into the crown as this will cause an unsightly rot in your Tradescantia plant. Care should be taken, particularly in winter, that the plant doesn’t become too dry. Mist Tradescantia plants frequently. Feed your plant monthly with a half-strength liquid fertilizer. An important part of growing Tradescantia plants is pinching back the long, vining tendrils. Pinch back about a fourth of the plant to encourage to encourage branching and increase fullness.
  • Easy to grow house plant
  • Tradescantia fluminensis 'Nanouk'
  • Provide morning sun or very bright indirect or artificial light
  • Water thoroughly when dry
  • Immediate shipping

    Tradescantia Bubblegum

Posted by Sandra Ackerman on Oct 22nd 2021

I received 2 beautiful, healthy, well packed plants in a surprisingly speedy manner. I have had some trouble in the past with other Tradescantia - I must be doing something wrong bc I have found them to be hard to grow or propagate. I hope to do better with these from Hirt’s. I highly recommend this company!!
