Product Description

Tradescantia plant care requires bright indirect light. If the light is too dim, the leaf markings will fade. Keep the soil slightly moist, but don’t water directly into the crown as this will cause an unsightly rot in your Tradescantia plant. Care should be taken, particularly in winter, that the plant doesn’t become too dry. Mist Tradescantia plants frequently. Feed your plant monthly with a half-strength liquid fertilizer. An important part of growing Tradescantia plants is pinching back the long, vining tendrils. Pinch back about a fourth of the plant to encourage to encourage branching and increase fullness. Starter plant growing in a 2.5" pot. Approximately 1-2" tall, 2-3 stems per pot.
  • Easy to grow house plant
  • Trim as needed, Water thoroughly when dry
  • Provide morning sun or very bright indirect or artificial light
  • Approximately 1-2" tall, 2-3 stems per pot.
  • Immediate shipping, starter plant growing in a 2.5" pot.

No damage to the plant during shipping. It's cute and small, just how I pictured it.

This little guy looks hearty and healthy. It came during a cold snap but was well packaged and did well in the mail. I was so impressed with Hirts that I ordered another plant the next week!
