Meet the newest member of the Pugster series of buddleia, Pugster Amethyst. Characterized by extra large flowers on a dwarf plant, Pugster Amethyst brings a cool purple to the mix. Thick, sturdy stems make the Pugster series less brittle in growing and at retail, and increases winter survivability for these plants even in colder climates.

Great!
They survived an Atlanta winter, used as a wind block for a Black Knight butterfly shrub. Excellent in dry, drought-like conditions in the Deep South...full sun all day long and humidity gets as high as 60-80 percent. The bush will notify you as the leaves droop for water..used Osmocote and/or compost as fertilizer.
