The outer pot is made out of 100% locally sourced plastic waste. We use #2 and #5 plastic, which comes from post-consumer food waste plastics (to-go boxes, brewery pack rings, milk jugs, yogurt containers, and more) and crafting supply waste (thread spools) Each pot will have slight variations in pattern and color, no two are the same. One drainage hole is drilled in the bottom. We shred up clean plastic and melt it down in a injection mold process to make all of our recycled pots!
