For a gorgeous combination, pair with short blue or purple spring-blooming annuals like alyssum, lobelia, and violas in a container, along a path, or in a garden bed. In the kitchen, the edible petals add bright color when used as a garnish, in salads, egg dishes, or on top of hors d’oeuvres. Also called Pot Marigold. Deer resistant.
