Vase Plants are probably the most popular houseplant bromeliads on the market today. The stately plants generally have wide, strappy green leaves that sometimes appear to be lightly powdered. Their leaves have backward-curving spines that can be sharp, so be careful how you pick them up. Although the plants themselves are beautiful, their long-lasting flowering bracts are stunning. Keep the center vase filled with clean water at all times. Once or twice a month dump out the water and add fresh water. The soil itself needs a thorough watering only when dry. It should never stand in water. Always repot into a pot with holes for drainage. You will receive three plants each growing in a 4" pot, the varieties sent will vary.
