Lucullus Swiss Chard Seeds - 100 Seeds

50 days. [~1914. Named after the Roman general Lucius Lucullus (pronounced “loo-kyool-us”) who was renowned for his splendid banquets.] Large, pale green leaves with thick white stems and heavily crumpled leaves. Approximately 100 seeds sows 12 feet. Fine quality, light green, deeply savoyed leaves on thick, white, long, smooth stems. Keep cut regularly and this chard will bear and remain in prime condition over a long period. Rows should be spaced 45 cm (18″) apart. When seedlings are approximately 5 cm (2”) tall, thin the seedlings to 10 cm (4″) apart. Seeds germinate in approximately 7-10 days.
