Daylilies do best in the mixed perennial border. Also good for mass plantings and for container growing. Dormant shipping in winter. This rich lavender flower won the 2007 Stout Silver Medal Winner. The Stout is the American Hemerocallis Society's highest award and is only attained after years of flower trials. Lavender Blue Baby is a fabulous lavender flower with a vivid lavender blue watermark eye and a chartreuse-green throat. The color is so unique you won't find it on many other flowers and definitely not on another daylily. You'll never get this beauty confused with another! This well-branched daylily has a high bud count and is garden hardy. If you like to try home-hybridizing, this is a great parent plant to work with.

    Blooms forming in a week!

    I have tons of named Day lilies. I love to cross pollinate and watch them bloom. This Lavender or light purple was so beautiful. I checked with Hirts and they sent me a beautiful potted plant. I just planted it last week and it's the first part of April. I looked at it today and it already has two shoots of blooms forming! It's so crazy that a plant only a few inches tall is getting ready to bloom in a week. I'm loving my Hirts plants as always.
