Clematis
This is a late review. I got itchy fingers and decided to plant them mid June in south Texas last year. As expected they arrived small, but healthy. I was a little worried that it's too hot to plant anything at this point, but they survived. Not only that, I got blooms in early/mid September. I didn't expect any since clematis can take a few years to get established. The color was fantastic, bright royal purple. I trimmed them as per group3 recommendations in early March, and they have exploded by putting on 2-4" a day.
