    I am very eager to sow these seeds indoors as soon as is feasible. This is an organic, heirloom variety. I no longer live in an area subject to frosts, I read on the seed packet that a light fall frost will lend sweetness to the flavor of this kale. The back of the seed packet has a vertical strip with helpful planting information (e.g., days to germination, days to maturity, spacing, depth of planting); this strip can be cut out and used as a plant tag. I plan to paste it into my garden journal.
