Ice King presents with a pleated collar of lemon-yellow with a small burst of lemony petals in the center. The trumpet will fade to a soft chalky white with age. Fragrant and floriferous, these selections may need some protection from the wind. Consider planting them under deciduous trees that will not leaf out until after they have bloomed. Daffodil Plant Care: In fall, plant bulbs in deep, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade. Plant 6" apart and 6" deep in groups of 5,7,9 or more. Water during their growth period. After flowers bloom, let the foliage die back naturally.
