Product Description

Great as a bonsai, house plant or fairy garden edition. The plant you will receive is similar to the second photo. Knobby bark decorates this world's smallest elm. Pruning tips of branches will help fill out this tree that grows only about an inch or two annually. Naturally congested growth and a stocky trunk give this small tree the appearance of age, a quality valued in miniature landscapes, railroad gardens and bonsai. The plant develops thick, corky bark with age. Site it in full to partial sun with moist, well-drained soil. Don’t over water in winter, and don’t let it dry out or scorch in intense summer sun. Allow to remain cold (below 40F) but above freezing, for winter. Hardy Zones 6-10 Mature Size: 6" height x 5" width Starter plant growing in a 2.5" pot, dormant in winter

    I can't say enough about Hurts. I always find just what I want and they always deliver the best plants. I wish I could live there. It must be amazing to surrounded by so many of the plants that I can't live without. This tree is my favorite little tree. The miniature elm that I was looking for is just adorable and of course Shirts had them. I'm in Bliss and you will be also. Thanks again for making my gardening day.
