Product Description

Goldfish Plant (Nematanthus glabra) Native to tropical America, the goldfish plant belongs to the same family as African violets and gloxinias. The flowers look just like goldfish without fins. This is a classic plant for a hanging basket. It grows best indoors in bright filtered light, or outside in a warm sheltered position, but it is frost tender. Water your goldfish plant well in the growing season, but keep it fairly dry during the winter months. Tip prune after flowering to maintain size and shape.

    The little plant is great. Six plants of various sizes arrived to CA when expected, all secured with plastic wrap and protected with bubble wrap. I was very impressed with the quality and condition of the plants. The prices here are a quarter of what I would expect to pay at my local nursery.

    I really like this plant. I ordered 2 of the plants and repotted the in a larger plant. The plants arrive very healthy and had blooms on them. Place them in a east facing window. So
