Product Description

A striking, light reflecting highlight for a well-drained situation, this native of Southern coastal Australia grows fairly quickly into a finely textured rounded mass of silvery-white tangled wiry branchlets and tiny foliage resembling a compact, silvery tumbleweed. Little silvery buds open into small light yellow “buttons” in Spring. Low maintenance, it’s happy in well-drained rock gardens, along pathways, slopes and containers in NUTRIENT POOR SOIL (no clay). To 1-3’ tall. Trim as needed. Hates high humidity. Great for coastal sites as it resists salt spray and wind. Zone: 9 -11 Full Sun Proper name: Leucophyta brownii “Cushion Bush” (syn.
