Clary Sage - 100 Seeds - Heirloom/Medicinal

Handsome and attractive herb is aromatic with pale-purple flower spikes. Leaves are often distilled and/or used as a fixative in potpourris. The seeds soaked in water were once used to make an eye bath and hence its name "clary" or "clear eye." Reaches full potential the second year.

Direct seed in late spring or summer in permanent location or start indoors 4- 6 weeks before the last frost date and transplant when all danger of frost has passed. Watering tips. Keep well watered through maturity, allowing soil surface to dry between waterings.
