Capistrano Rhododendron - The Best Hardy Yellow Color - 4" Pot

Capistrano Rhododendron freely produces frilly, lemon-yellow flowers in midseason. Frilly, rich lemon-yellow flowers are freely produced midseason in large, rounded trusses. Dark green leaves are somewhat rounded at the apex. The late Dr. David Leach, a pioneer in the development of hardy Rhododendrons for American gardens, considered this to be his best yellow. Plant it in your garden and we're sure you'll think so too! Growth habit of 'Capistrano' is compact and spreading, reaching 4 to 5 feet tall and 5 to 6 feet wide at maturity.
