Product Description

PASSION FLOWER: Passion flowers are exotic looking topical plants that can actually be grown in much milder areas. There are many different passion flower plants. Some passion flowers are vines, some produce edible fruits. The genus Passiflora contains over 400 species. The name ‘Passion’ Flower comes from Spanish Christian missionaries who adopted the unique physical structures of this plant, particularly the numbers of its various flower parts, as symbols of the last days of Jesus and especially his crucifixion. This wonderful vine produces beautiful bi-color flowers and dark green lobed leaves. Spectacular when grown on a trellis or arbor. Very tender perennial. Prefers well drained soil and full sun.

    Becky's Blue/white passion flower, 2.5" pot

Arrived quickly and perfectly packaged. Healthy green plant with two stems. Planted after acclimating for two days. It is growing quickly and I'm eager to see how it matures! These used to be common in Florida, but rarely seen now and impossible to find in garden centers. Thanks!

    Very Nice Product

I received plants that were healthy and when planted have done very well. I first ordered just the vine and was worried about its viability but it is growing like a "weed." They are packed in a scary way covered in masking tape etc., but after watering they do just fine. Mine traveled from Ohio to south Florida. 5 Star Product
