Tulipa clusiana var. chrysantha 'Tubergen's Gem' ( Liliaceae ). Commonly known as the candlestick tulip. Its a great tulip related to the former wild species as found in the high mountains of Turkestan. Now propagated at our nurseries it has become a very reliable Tulip for the Rock and formal garden They bloom with tall bi color flowers. This tulip is very hardy and will re-bloom the following seasons too!
