An amazingly eye-catching white version with violet stripes. Triteleia is fabulous in the garden. Airy stems wave above Dianthus-like grey green foliage.
These midsummer-blooming corms are native to west-coast North America. They are adapted to fairly dry meadows and do well in the rock garden. Many species formerly called Brodiaea are now called Triteleia. Bridges late spring into summer. Dainty bloom clusters up to 5" across. Dependable "true blue". Plant thickly for best effect. Terrific in bouquet.
