    Swiss Cheese Monstera

Posted by Martha B. on May 22nd 2022

Plant was good sized, with 4 vining stems and 16 well cut, open leaves as well as 3 or 4 not yet unfolded leaves. While the seven assorted plants in my shipping box were all well packed, the Monstera leaves looked a bit unhappy, for lack of a better word. The shipping box had obviously spent some time upside down, withe the well-cushioned leaves at the bottom and not the top of the box. So after a quick repotting I just didn't touch the leaves at all for several days. All leaves recovered their vibrancy in a few days and the unopened leaves are now opening. Overall I am very satisfied.

Plant was well packaged and arrived healthy. It seems to be enjoying the window where it is being displayed. Believe me, you can't go wrong when buying plants from Hirt's Gardens.

My first monstera, but won't be my last. The structure is so unique, not sure why it took me so long to get one.
