An English vicar developed this multicolored strain, from a single plant he found in a grin field around 1880. The blooms are papery-silk pinks, reds and creams. The fragile beauty and shimmering colors of all poppies are magical. They practically grow themselves, which is why they were essentials in remote cottage gardens. A very unusual and gracefully frilled flower form. Primary colors range from deep rosy pink through white, with lavender-toned blotches in the throat. Ht. 18".
