Tulip Species Samantha is a lovely short tulip, it has attractive red and yellow flower heads that sit amongst green straplike foliage. Perfect for pots and containers. A most unusual humilis hybrid, not only is it a most beautiful pillar box red in colour, it is a double which gives 3-5 flowers per bulb, a great one for the tulip lover, works well in pots for an early show. Originally from the Mediterranean, Asia Minor and the Caucasus, Species Tulips offer unusual flowers in varying heights and dazzling colors. Known to perennialize better than most tulips, they are wonderful for rock gardens, sweet clusters and naturalized drifts.
