A cross between Mexican and native Penstemon, Penstemon Red Rocks sports bright rose-red flowers all summer with dark green leaves above a mound of narrow lance-shaped foliage. Very long blooming. Thrives in a wide range of sites and soils and is very drought tolerant. Nearly evergreen. A butterfly magnet.
