Plectranthus prostratus is a small succulent with creeping, much-branched stems that bear small, thick, lime green leaves with lines of purple form on leaf edges if grown in bright light.
The stem is long, thin, trailing, succulent, and purple-green in color. When placed in hanging pots or baskets, they form dense strands of hanging stems that adorn your balconies and gardens. The way these strands fall over the edges of the planters symmetrically in all directions, make them exceptionally beautiful.
Many types of plectranthus are actually perennials in warm-weather areas of Zones 9 and 10. You can also grow many as beautiful houseplants.
