A violet-purple beauty resulting from a cross with mexicali Penstemon. Blooms all summer long with persistent dark green leaves. Blooms provide a nice, easy shot of color for a cottage garden. Penstemons are very drought tolerant perennials that are easy to grow and are rarely bothered by insects or diseases. Plant them in full sun and watch as hummingbirds feast on their delicious nectar.
