Periwinkle blue standards with falls that have bright yellow centers and smokey gray-blue edges, grass-like foliage looks attractive in the garden all season. Grows best in moist soils but tolerates drier soils too. Shipped dormant in the winter. IRIS: Iris is a genus of between 200–300 species of flowering plants with showy flowers. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species. A must have perennial, the iris tolerates wet, boggy areas and is very adaptable to a variety of soil types.
