Product Description

Large tomato-red with dark bronze green stems, this large and vigorous cultivar is an extremely long-lasting perennial in our garden and the hardiest of them all! Up to 50 tubular, starry, warm, colorful blooms decorate 24"-36" gracefully arching stems, adding festive brightness to the late summer garden when lots of other plants have finished their show. Sword-like foliage similar to gladiolus, blend in nicely and add linear accents to the perennial border. The flower arranger's dream, Crocosmia adds a special effect in flower arrangement and are long lasting in the vase. Loves the sun.

    I have been ordering plants online for decades. I wish I had discovered Hirt's sooner. I have never received plants as big and healthy from any online nursery. I was literally stunned when I opened the box. Combined with very reasonable prices (I paid twice as much for a Crocosmia at a local nursery) Hirt's has set the bar very high.

    Very fine plant, 2 ft. tall, lots of roots. One flower with exact color. Well boxed & arrived promptly.
