The soft yellow, 4" blooms with steel-blue centers reliably appear in April. They change first to a sweet blushing pink-red color, then to near-white streaked with cherry red. Tops for creating a colorful feature planting in the landscape, but also makes an amazing cut flower for indoor enjoyment. The very name Tulip is magic, for everyone knows this fine genus.
