Very healthy plant when arrived. Shipping took only 3-4 days and plants were properly and carefully packed. This particular clematis was bigger then I expected when I received it. It has a lot of tiny but steady branches, and I am excited for blooms.
Already starting to climb the fence! Couldnt believe how big the roots are already so it's going to stun the neighbors I'm sure!
Order arrived quickly. They were wrapped in bubble wrap with masking tape to contain the soul in the pots. They are dormant as expected but the soil was bone dry. I immediately watered it and shortly after opted to put it in a larger pot. Roots looked good but very root bound (as I suspected). I have no reason to doubt that this will not thrive this spring. A 4” pot doesn’t seem to be fitting for a Clematis but rootstock looked great so I am excited to see it in a few months.
