Product Description

Hydrangea is a genus of about 100 species of flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia (from Japan to China, the Himalaya and Indonesia) and North and South America. Hydrangeas produce flowers from early spring to late autumn. The flowers of Hydrangea are carried in bunches, at the ends of the stems. Each individual Hydrangea flower is relatively small. However, the display of color is enhanced by a ring of modified bracts around each flower. In most species of Hydrangea the flowers are white, but in some species, can be blue, red, pink, or purple. In Hydrangea species the exact color often depends upon the acidity or alkalinity of the soil. Acidic soils produce blue flowers, neutral soils produce pale cream petals, and alkaline soils result in pink or purple. This adaptable native plant produces huge flowers (as much as 12" across) is reliable and beautiful. Very cold hardy Incrediball blooms on new growth so even very cold winters won't keep it from blooming. The flowers are held upright on very sturdy stems, so they don't flop like 'Annabelle' will. Massive flowers bloom in summer, and are held up by very sturdy stems. Prune back in late winter/early spring. Very hardy and reliable. Good for cut flowers. Native. Mature Height: 3-4'. Prefers Sun to Part Sun. Immediate shipping. Size shipped: 4" pot

    Incrediball Hydrangea 4” pot

I received these in a dormant state and have waited until spring to post a review. I can now report that they are all leafing out and that I am looking forward to placing them in spots among tree roots. The small size pot makes that much easier. I have positive experiences with Hirt’s. I find them very responsive if I have any issues. The plants are always very carefully packaged. Superior grower.

I love hydrangeas but these are super tiny seedlings and arrived with the few stems the had broken.
