Product Description
Great as a bonsai, house plant or fairy garden edition. Knobby bark decorates this world's smallest elm. Pruning tips of branches will help fill out this tree that grows only about an inch or two annually. Naturally congested growth and a stocky trunk give this small tree the appearance of age, a quality valued in miniature landscapes, railroad gardens and bonsai. The plant develops thick, corky bark with age. Site it in full to partial sun with moist, well-drained soil. Don’t over water in winter, and don’t let it dry out or scorch in intense summer sun. Allow to remain cold (below 40F) but above freezing, for winter.
